Self-advertising serves the greater good by reminding audiences of where they are

There is increasing evidence that people don’t like ads, whether it’s on the web, in a captive environment, or on their TVs.

Why the hostility? Are ads not useful? Are they not cuddly? Do they not provide us with relevant information so that we can make good consumer choices for ourselves and our families?

What about self-advertising – those ads that remind us of where we are while we are there? I think we have not fully embraced the wonderfulness of these ads. It never hurts to know where you are.
